VERSE 01.

141's final showdown with makarov doesn't go to plan. captain price is dead and garrick is out of duty, extremely wounded. when it's concluded by his superiors that ghost is no longer fit for service, his trauma coming crashing down on him, they decide someone like simon riley cannot be trusted with the secrets he holds, among the general public.they plan to have him arrested for his past crimes of faking his own death and "killing his family" ( which wasn't done by him ), intending for him to rot in prison, but when the police come to collect him - he's gone. ghost goes on the run and into hiding. he contacts aksil (@jagannaths) who transports him to the u.s. he introduces simon to an ally named philip, who requests simon's help in being a bodyguard for alma aka "ink", philip's apprentice. ( written and created by @rpurl. )alma is due to become philip's replacement due to philip slowly dying, as a weapons dealer and hitwoman. ghost accepts this position, where he proceeds to hide from the british government as alma's bodyguard.on the side, ghost ends up teaming up with alma's allies, shadow watch ( also written and created by @rpurl ), a private military company, who assist him in taking down makarov for good.makarov has connections to a u.s senator "palpatine" who intends to exploit makarov's desire for destruction in order to come out looking like a hero.STAGE II.
MAKAROV IS HUNTED DOWN AND KILLED BY GHOST. IT'S REVEALED THAT HE WAS WORKING FOR SOMEONE - RURIK KRYLOV, ROMAN BARKOV'S SON. roman barkov was a rogue russian army general who occupied urzikstan in the middle east through brutal methods, believing he was protecting russia from terrorists. he was killed by farah karim, leader of the urzikstan liberation force ( ulf. )barkov left behind a son, who proceeded to change his surname to krylov in order to hide his connection to his father. rurik went on to strive to avenge his father, believing his death to have been unjust. he climbs his way into political ranks as russia's minister of defence, where he learns of the actions of vladimir makarov. deciding that they possess the same goals, to watch urzikstan burn, they team up with rurik leading them.when makarov is killed, rurik connects with senator palpatine in order to gather the resources required for konni to trigger world war three.STAGE III.
konni move into the middle east, where they occupy the government and force the middle east's hand at starting world war three. rurik is then killed by senator palpatine, leaving him to resolve the war and gain power.ghost teams up with maul ( @jagannaths ) to take down senator palpatine. they do so successfully, but upon leaving his corpse, konni come in and stage it to look like the work of traitors working as spies for the urzikstan liberation force. this influences america's hand at finishing the war once and for all.ghost travels to the middle east where he connects with farah karim, and the two work to locate the second in command of konni, once barkov's son is dead. but before they can, america releases a nuclear weapon on the middle east. in turn, the middle east collapses, creating a global economic fall. ghost returns to the u.s.south american nations come together to form "the federation." a decade-long war breaks out between america and the federation, with central america losing much of its ground against them. ghost is contacted by an organisation known as "ghosts", special forces operators carrying out black ops missions to regain power against the federation. he joins them, finding new purpose.AGE. VERSE 02.

THE LAST OF US.task force 141, including ghost, travel to the u.s to investigate a lead on a follower of al-asad that trusted intel labelled as a threat to england due to their apparent desire to travel there and spread fury in AQ’s name. they arrive after the infection has started spreading, however, it’s minimal and therefore goes unnoticed until things swiftly change and the outbreak begins.flights become unavailable and there’s no safe way to reach the coast so he and his team take refuge with their kit. gradually, as they begin running out of resources and it becomes clear that no one is coming to save them, their mission changes to surviving. they assist in getting civilians to safe zones before residing in one set up in washington state.after a few days the camp is overrun and 141 witness the controlling military abandoning the remaining civvies. having also experienced short tempers and a lack of control from the soldiers in charge, captain price felt a frustration towards them and disagreed with their methods. deciding not to try and locate another safe zone, price makes the difficult choice for them to survive on their own - helping any they could along the way. they make their way out to the countryside, anywhere that population is lacking and set up camp.from that point, captain price loses a few of his men to infection and reaches a place where he feels he can no longer lead his men because they keep dying and he believes they’d have a better chance of sticking nearby but not together. at least not with him, so price goes his own way, leaving ghost with the rest of 141.eventually, ghost splits off by himself, occasionally linking up with the others. ghost will often assist price with difficult work when called upon, but mostly keeps to himself. he ends up doing a lot of experimenting with the infected, learning how they function and why. he's learned how to manipulate the fungus in order to drive infected to do as directed as well as how to manoeuvre them and utilise them as weapons. he’s been in countless predicaments, which he’s escaped from, and has developed the skill of using certain infected to his advantage, unleashing them onto enemies or utilising them as protection.price ends up getting taken hostage by hunters who force him to work and is missing for a year. typically, ghost will go months at a time without speaking to people, and therefore only hears of price’s absence when soap manages to get a hold of him. despite being distant, price is ghost’s closest and most trusted friend, prompting ghost to dig for intel on price’s whereabouts.it’s unlike him to vanish without a word. those who regularly deal with price tell ghost they’ve seen him around but he was behaving strange and looked ill. that he had been spotted associating with what looked like hunters. ghost starts with that, interrogating two hunters he finds about price’s disappearance. this interrogation phase goes on for some time, as the smaller hunter groups appeared to relocate often. finally, after countless hunter lives have been taken, he grinds out a location from one and alerts soap, who insists on coming along.soap also convinces farah to assign some of her fighters to him, in case the hunters are a larger group than expected. they storm the camp, soap and the fighters keeping them preoccupied while ghost goes in search of price. he finds him, weak, skinny and bleeding. once price is brought back to rest at farah’s camp, ghost ends up going off on his own again - though this time he ensures he’s got a better method of communication with price.in this verse, ghost’s perception of whether he’s alive or truly dead is blurred. simon riley barely exists. he is a hitman, sometimes taking payment and sometimes not as he takes pleasure in the hardships of his survival. he will do what many refuse to, most notably for the satisfaction he gets from eliminating scum.price ends up introducing ghost to ellie. this leads to ghost going with price and ellie to interrogate the wlf and to search for tommy.ghost will occasionally enter jackson, either with price or ellie and sometimes assists with gritty, lone work that needs doing, however, your muse won’t be familiar with him.AGE. VERSE 03.

RESIDENT EVIL.based during re2 / re3. britain receives intel regarding biological warfare, intel that comes from an informant working undercover alongside the enemy ( russian ultranationalist terrorists. ) news that their russian enemies had their eyes on something potentially devastating sparked concern.counter-terrorism were informed of the severity and sensitivity of the situation, leading to a qualified and expert team of operatives ( task force 141 ) including ghost being sent off to investigate. the initial plan had been to eliminate the terrorist cell positioned in raccoon city and find further information on the umbrella corporation, which was brought up among intel. this wasn’t achieved, as the outbreak began shortly after their arrival.it appeared that the weapon had already leaked into the general public, with walking, rotting corpses eating civilians. despite being recalled to their helo to abort the mission, captain price told the pilot to leave without them and ghost remained with his team in the city.they assist civilians, and price had set his sights on getting to the root of the problem and sought information on umbrella and the virus that seemed to be spreading.with half the team gradually lost to the virus, ghost tells price he’s going off alone. he remains in touch with his team, digging deeper into the grime for information. he will torture those tied to umbrella for it, looking into intel himself.in this verse, ghost maintains all skills and training as his main verse, making him an extremely valuable ally to any who befriend him, which - mind you - is very difficult to do. more tba as verse develops.alternatively, ghost can be found with sherry birkin, who he discovers and commits to helping surive. he is extremely protective of sherry and won't hesitate to kill you / put you in your place should you cross any lines. exclusive with @girlinfect's sherry.AGE. VERSE 04.

THE MANDALORIAN / STAR WARS.little knowledge of star wars.former SAS operator ( a military unit trained for special operations, surveillance, and counter-terrorism ) simon riley is a recognised, respected and highly feared bounty hunter throughout the galaxy.scorned by the military, he faked his death in order to take out the cartel leader that'd wiped out his family and mercilessly tortured him.since then, he's built a reputation as "ghost." selective with his jobs and self-employed ( not with the guild ), ghost navigates his way through the galaxy finding purpose in freeing it from dangerous criminals.he meets maul and, eventually, the two strike up a dynamic when ghost becomes targeted by a group of widely feared mercenaries. ghost approaches maul for his assistance and they develop feelings for one another.ghost becomes synonymous with maul's shadow collective and stands by maul as his protector for a long time, until they part and ghost is forced to return to his hunter ways to survive. he becomes an old legend, with some believing him to be dead and others suspecting he never existed in the first place ( this bleeds into the mandalorian timeline. )AGE. 36-64.

FAR CRY 5.simon riley is a trusted ally of britain's most notorious hitwoman. when she receives a hit on a wanted preacher who goes by the name "joseph seed," and learns of his highly militant support system, she calls in a friend to help her get the job done. and who better than the best the sas has to offer, simon "ghost" riley.providing her with a more detailed and concentrated plan, layout and recon of the area, they work together for her to achieve the hit with safe extraction.not all goes to plan however, because upon entering hope county, something kicks off and security is upped and the rumoured cult is on high alert. ghost can be encountered alone in this verse, although bear in mind he has his mission and won't let anything stand in his way. he's also keen not to be compromised, thus - he might not take kindly to interaction.AGE. "winter", a weapons dealer, is selected as a high value individual ( hvi ), her father even more so due to his connections with makarov and the ultranationalist group.ghost is tasked as an undercover operative to take on the role of winter's bodyguard, taking advantage of her naive business-sense in hopes to remain under the radar of her father, minimize suspicion and to also drip feed crucial intel back to the cia, should anything of importance be discovered. her fraying relationship with her father is used to their advantage.in this verse, simon goes by "ghost" and "stanley roberts," as an alias to those he 'trusts.' he is working for a criminal, in a criminal setting. if you meet him, you won't know he's military / undercover. but with winter being as reputable as she is within manhattan, it's entirely possible you might recognize him as her "big, scary bodyguard."AGE. CIVVIE.interlinks with main verse, takes place early 2022. still everything he is, except that this verse comes into play when he's not deployed and is home. colin stewart ( alias ) is a quiet guy living in bromsgrove, worcestershire. he shares an apartment with his former neighbour ms siu, an elderly lady he once saved from thieves, who he gets along well with.an active guy, you may find him out on a jog or in unusual places outside of his city exploring. he likes to keep busy, but doesn't stray so far from hereford that he can't reach it should he be called upon.there's essentially a prequel to this verse, wherein during 2015-2016, simon is stabbed by the templar and is forced to take the better part of a year off to recover, coming close to death. this is a separate possibility for a plot, prior to him moving in with his roommate. keep in mind this is 4-5 years post-roba, so simon will be different to '22+ ghost.please note: colin is very closed off and doesn't seek out friendships. if he's in your company, it likely won't be for long, unless he thinks you're in danger or he's trying to extract information out of you for some reason or another ( in which case, a different alias might come into play to avoid the name colin stewart attracting danger - please check before assuming. )it's possible he might spend time with you if you're someone living within his building or neighbourhood, or perhaps your muse has connections to ms siu ( an original character, please also check before assuming anything, and certainly don't use her to further your plots with others that aren't me. )either way, if you're interested in plotting in this verse, feel free to let me know!AGE. VERSE 09.

THE WOLF AMONG US.this fable begins with an ending, the death of simon riley. the incident, the tragedy that led a broken man, gutted of feeling and trust, to be both gifted and cursed with a heavy duty. his suffering rendered deities torn but impressed, an unseen audience seeking to exploit a crumbling soul's desire for purpose.like other broken folk before him, he was offered a choice, die now or avenge and act as the harbinger of death. your suffering will see no end, but you may guide sinful souls as you please to their purgatory. your own sins will be overlooked, should you take on this responsibility, and you might just find peace in your agony.with simon dead, he was given eternality and his ghost was assigned new purpose. to act as the grim reaper, to ferry souls to purgatory where they would wait for a decision to be made, whether they could pass on to the afterlife or work off their sins for as long as it was required. he becomes known by many different names, the grim reaper, azrael - the angel of death. no one knows simon riley survived the burning wreckage of his childhood home, nor do they know that simon is the grim reaper.in his corporeal form, he adorns his skull-printed balaclava and is referred to as "grim" by the folk of fabletown. and while he doesn't have endless power to take life, should he feel there are sins due punishment he can act out of spite. there is a limit to this, and should the deaths be deemed unjustified his powers will be revoked.grim has the power to transport himself to the places he needs to be, never descending or ascending but merely manifesting. in his reaping form, he wears a skull mask with a painted jaw, shrouded by a dark cloak and hood that doesn't completely conceal but casts a shadow across his mask. the cloak is tattered and hangs from his form in a spectral manner and his skeleton-gloved hands become fleshless and bony. he does also carry a scythe on his back, smaller than typical for convenience but still lethal.despite being able to switch into a human form, he remains unable to die and is ice cold to the touch. that's not to say total death isn't sought after, however. unperceived deities challenged on darker days where he grows weary. although his human form allows him to be seen by all regardless of context or circumstance, he cannot be perceived in his reaper form unless he wants to be and even then, he'll only appear for chosen individuals.simon is not the first nor the last grim reaper. unlike many of the fables, who are "one and onlies", simon filled a space in a long line of former reapers. when a reaper earns the right to reach the afterlife, or succeeds in cheating eternity, they retire and another broken soul is offered the duty.important notes: simon / grim cannot be seen in his reaper form unless he chooses to be and can also select who can see him. he doesn't need to use glamour in order to manifest into a human form.he is often accompanied by one of the three blind mice - who goes by easel. easel isn't actually blind, but is instead "blinded" by devotion.AGE. VERSE 10.

TELLTALE'S THE WALKING DEAD.task force 141, including ghost, travel to the u.s to investigate a crime organisation that is helping fund makarov's ultranationalists and their acts of terrorism. they arrive after the infection has started spreading, however, it’s minimal and therefore goes unnoticed until things swiftly change and the outbreak begins.flights become unavailable and there’s no safe way to reach the coast so he and his team take refuge with their kit when they're unable to make contact with the military. gradually, as they begin running out of resources and it becomes clear that no one is coming to save them, their mission changes to surviving. they assist in getting civilians to safe zones before residing in one set up in washington state.after a few days the camp is overrun and 141 witness the controlling military abandoning the remaining civvies. having also experienced short tempers and a lack of control from the soldiers in charge, captain price felt a frustration towards them and disagreed with their methods. deciding not to try and locate another safe zone, price makes the difficult choice for them to survive on their own - helping any they could along the way. they make their way out to the countryside, anywhere that population is lacking and set up camp.from that point, captain price loses a few of his men to infection and reaches a place where he feels he can no longer lead his men because they keep dying and he believes they’d have a better chance of sticking nearby but not together. at least not with him, so price goes his own way, leaving ghost with the rest of 141.eventually, ghost splits off by himself, linking up with price, soap and kyle ( primarily, though he does interact with the others from time to time ) every so often. ghost will often assist price with difficult work when called upon, but mostly keeps to himself. it should be noted this occurs during a series of months, where they originally plan to wait out until things clear up, help civvies where they can and are able to reach a point where they can make contact with the military. when that doesn't happen, and help doesn't seem to be on its way, this is where they begin to split up, to survive.ghost figures out early on that you're able to mask you scent with walker guts and remains hidden among many of them, though rarely has trouble with them when spotted. he’s been in countless predicaments, which he’s escaped from, and has developed the skill of using certain walkers to his advantage, unleashing them onto enemies or utilizing them as protection. as the world delves further into chaos, the likelihood of rescue seeming more and more distant, simon begins looking for work similar to that of a hitman, sometimes taking payment and sometimes not as he takes pleasure in the hardships of his survival.he'll do what many refuse to, most notably for the satisfaction he gets from eliminating scum.continuing his job, essentially, as a special forces operator eliminating threats, ghost finds himself in all sorts of situations. you might seek him out and request his help, be saved by him in a jam, or encounter him in forced hostage situations where he's pretending to be in danger to take someone out. he can be found most places due to travelling a lot. it should be noted that, whilst simon spends most of his time alone, farah, soap, kyle and others have set up a community of capable survivors which he turns to for necessities should he need them, as well as helping them with their own troubles on occasion.at one point, ghost entangles himself in the web of bill carver and his occupation of an abandoned howe's hardware store. this is after he receives a hit for carver but is unable to carry it out easily, due to carver typically being well-guarded and difficult to reach. thus, ghost joins the group under an old alias, stanley ( stan ) roberts, and works his way up through the ranks within a few months in order to gain access to carver. he primarily repairs damaged items within the group as well as provides support with mechanics.it's during his time there that clementine's group are taken prisoner and he interacts with numerous members for various reasons, some providing him help to fix things or fetch tools. still focused on his hit, simon bides his time and lays low until he becomes aware through his own means that clementine's group intend to break out and escape.it would mean either the perfect opportunity to kill carver or wasted time, so he decides to help them out where he can in their escape and when the time comes where clem's group are caught and rounded up, instead of kenny killing him, ghost sends the group on their way in order for him to complete his hit.with carver dead and the necessary proof acquired for his employers, simon sets out to return the proof but finds himself interrupted by a nearby gunfight. it's between clem's group and arvo's, and simon decides to provide backup when he learns of a baby's involvement. he ensures their safe journey to rest for the evening before heading off into the night, alone. from there, ghost returns the proof and continues taking on more work where he can find it, to keep busy.note: you won't know simon's actual name unless you're close - please don't assume. you will either know him as ghost, or an alias.AGE. UNDERCOVER SECURITY.it's essential for western governments and agencies to obtain as much information and details on vladimir makarov and konni group as possible. with assets and spectres at their disposal, individuals are tasked with clandestine operations to achieve this. one of these individuals includes simon ghost riley, an sas lieutenant.he's tasked with infiltrating the security team of an organisation involved in the funding of konni group ultranationalists, after learning from an already-inside asset that they're a weak team. ghost settles in as a member of the team prior to liquidating the security head, filling the role himself shortly after.he meets ji-an, a cia connection who'd worked her way up from a low level temp job to the position of advisor.their boss, raj kalloway, is a rat compared to the 'bad guys' simon had faced in his time, but it's all part of the machine nonetheless which makes overseeing and reporting his every move important.simon believes he's working alongside an ally, but he doesn't know ji-an's identity has been discovered by raj, who is forcing her to be a double agent, acting on behalf of both the u.s and russia.exclusive with @rpurl.AGE. PIRATE.seeking control and purpose, away from his problematic family life, simon riley joined the royal navy, later being invited into the admiral's regiment - now known as the royal marines. piracy was a growing problem, and thus trained military men were selected to act on behalf of their country to reduce those numbers and keep the seas safe.after some years, simon would find himself in a unique position - extremely skilled and experienced in his line of work, he stood out among his fellow soldiers. it'd earned him an invitation, to join a privateer crew, a sturdy collection of highly skilled individuals including one "captain hawkins." it wasn't long before simon was promoted to the rank of lieutenant, acting as hawkins's right-hand man.this was what led to him being selected from his crew to assist another military team in the pursuit of one "manuel 'el gordo' roba" from the zaragoza pirate crew. it was discovered that roba was taking well-trained soldiers and, effectively, brainwashing them, in order to assist him in his crimes throughout new spain and the sea, keeping him undetected. the mission to apprehend roba would fail, with simon's teammates being captured, some killed and the leader, vernon, a rat that'd lured them all to the zaragoza.simon would be taken as a hostage and mercilessly tortured, in an attempt to brainwash him, for nine months, until his resilience proved roba to be impatient and he was buried alive and left to die, with his remaining teammates escaping without him. filled with new purpose, simon managed to dig his way out of the grave, unaware that he had in fact suffocated in his grave and died. nevertheless, simon obtained a ride home on a ship - keeping hidden to evade capture.upon his arrival, he returned to his family - only to discover they couldn't see nor hear him. simon very quickly realised he was dead; nothing but a ghost of himself. naturally troubled by this, he sought his now-major, hawkins, and appeared to him in a dream - informing him of what'd happened. this prompted hawkins to start looking into simon's disappearance, into sparks and washington, his surviving teammates.the two would catch wind of this and, influenced by roba's brainwashing, would carry out the murder of hawkins and simon's entire family - to make it look like simon was alive, had returned and gone off the rails.by the time simon reached his family, they were dead, and thus began his long-winded mission of vengeance. as a ghost, simon would carry out the killing of sparks, washington and roba. after this, he was approached by a superior power, and would be presented with the title of "azrael", in reward for braving earth's devils.azrael, the angel of death, became a sea-tale among pirates and military men alike. the archangel that stole the soul of the damned and punished them, the reaper who mercilessly erased the futures of evil men with a single strike of his ink.naturally, with every soul taken, the rumour and myth of azrael grew and simon immersed himself in it. capable of appearing / manifesting in the form of a cloaked man with a hood that concealed his face, simon would encourage, spread and terrify many with the story of azrael.it's said that he lingers on the deck of ships in the night, absorbing the atmosphere and energy he once was a part of. for more details on azrael as a myth / legend, please read this meta. rumour has it that it's possible to summon azrael, to request things from him: be it good health, wealth or affirmation. he may also be contacted by the bereaved and / or grieving, to offer comfort, advice or guidance.some years later, azrael was summoned by one 'tia dalma' ( pirates of the caribbean. ) he was met with an old friend, 'captain price', a former soldier turned rogue - intent on collecting the best of the best, for extremely confidential operations. price informed him that he knew of his circumstance and had gone to great lengths to make contact.it ended with simon accepting the position of lieutenant in this unfunded collection of misfit threats, combining roles, to collect the souls of the blessed and the damned while serving under the 141, aka "one for one" - a special operations squad dedicated to taking an eye for an eye. only price knows simon's secret. naturally his appearance as a human adapts to this circumstance.AGE. former british royal marine commando simon riley was recruited into a secret military operation to take out mexican criminal manuel "el gordo" roba. the op failed and simon was captured and tortured, with roba seeking to brainwash him over 9 months, before he escaped and fled. after his recovery, tragedy strikes. successfully brainwashed teammates, who'd also escaped, decide simon can't be trusted and thus kill his family, major and psychiatrist in an attempt to set him up and have him locked away.unable to continue in the military and wanted across the country, simon takes it upon himself to search for roba, kill him and avenge his family. to achieve this, he fakes his own death. with roba dead and no where to turn, simon decides to try his luck in america - hoping he'll be able to hide within the chaos and find purpose.taking on the alias of "ghost", he acts as an independent bounty hunter. over time, the pinkertons discover his secret and try to force him to work for them by threatening prison time. through negotiation, given simon's total lack of anything more to lose, he manages to get them to agree to a case by case employment - maintaining his independence as a hunter but also open to killing or capturing some of the pinkerton's most complex and dangerous targets.disgraced, dishonoured and betrayed, ghost is a formidable, experienced and highly skilled opponent. he's a gunslinger and owns a black american standardbred horse by the name of cynthia ( aka cyn ), who can typically be seen donning a full slicker hood decorated with cervical vertebrae and a skull - designed to look like a floating head and neck skeleton in the dark. she is near and dear to him.ghost is a dedicated and reputable bounty hunter, not to mention widely feared, but it's important to remember that he's being blackmailed by the us government to get wrapped up in political fights he has no cares for nor business being involved in.he doesn't take lightly to this, and holds no respect for the government - especially after what he was put through. thus, sometimes the circumstances of a bounty hunt might be subject to change. such is the case for one bounty, known only as "mara", who simon swiftly grew fond of and assisted in providing her the necessary tools to enable her escape from her holding cell.as for outlaws being hunted down, simon's wholly capable of feigning losing them or being overpowered if he feels he might benefit from his quarry. that being said, simon won't be bribed and finds the assumption he can be offensive. additionally, if you are unfamiliar with ghost's character, he's recognised as the "most dangerous man in britain." it's unlikely your muse will be able to overpower or outsmart him, unless he allows them to.despite being under the watchful gaze of the government and the pinkertons, along with him maintaining independence in his field, he also secured a deal of "no questions asked." they'll often look the other way for much of his work, if it means keeping him as a valuable asset. unbeknownst to anyone, ghost rarely keeps most of his rewards and will utilise the money for causes he deems good.AGE. MARVEL / DC / DISPATCH .simon riley dies when he is buried alive in mexico. his return home as a spirit yields that the teammates he'd been tortured alongside had survived, and that they intended to help his abductor - el gordo. simon appears to his major, hawkins, in his dreams and tries to convey the situation to him, to warn him.when his former teammates learn that major hawkins has been doing some digging, they go on a killing spree and wipe out simon's family and hawkins. it's staged to look like simon survived and went off the rails. distraught to have lost his family, and trapped on earth unable to locate them, he hunts down said teammates and kills them, before going after el gordo.once el gordo is dead, simon takes on the identity of "ghost". caught between life and total oblivion, he finds himself unable to move on and hopes, through haunting, he'll find what's missing. it leads him to hunting down criminals, cartels, gang members, etc - aka the absolute worst of the worst. he hopes by doing good, he'll navigate his way onto the next plain. nothing will stop him from this.ghost is simon's alter-ego. simon suffers from a delusion where he believes ghost to be a separate entity to him, occupying his vessel. the two communicate internally with one another.as aforementioned, simon is dead. he is a spirit, haunting. he is capable of manifesting a physical form, capable of fighting and has various "super powers."these powers include: the manipulation of insects ( cockroaches, flies, maggots, etc ) which he uses to spy on others or discover details he's otherwise unable to access, teleportation (n manifesting between locations ), the ability to levitate ( no more than a few feet ).he can also induce a loss of sensation in others and their bodies making it difficult for them to move, his presence drops the temperature significantly and he can possess others for a short period of time - leading to amnesia of the event post-possession.he also has superhuman strength, though it absorbs a lot of his energy. despite being immortal, ghost can be sapped of energy if fought for long enough and will become weak for several hours.ghost's manifested, solid form tends to drop maggots with rushed movements.AGE. VERSE 18.

A QUIET PLACE.based at the end of mwii. the team are in chicago, having an after work drink, having prevented a missile from hitting washington d.c. this is when disaster strikes and alien monsters fall from the sky like meteors.they crash throughout the city, hundreds if not thousands of them, and countless people are massacred. it's learned relatively quickly that they're drawn to noise, meaning ghost and his team and stuck in chicago - unable to get a ride home. suspecting the uk could also be under attack, their ultimate goal is to get home to protect their country. that might be difficult, however, with these creatures running rampant throughout the city.there are times where ghost will split off in search for resources, information and anything that might possibly assist them on their mission. it's during this time he will likely cross paths with civilians. please note: ghost won't want to be pinned down by anyone for long, especially if they are a risk to him or his team.he will assist people in getting from a to b, will distract the creatures to the best of his abilities, and might be open to staying with a handful of others or less from time to time, but will jump ship the second anyone becomes a danger to his safety.AGE. DYING LIGHT.based during dying light 2 / the beast.sometime after kyle crane is abducted by the baron to be experimented on, the GRE conclude that the use of highly trained soldiers combined with the severity of the sentient volatiles could create super soldier sentient volatiles. they abduct some of the most skilled soldiers across the world and prepare to experiment on and infect them. ghost is the only one to survive, breaking out of the facility.15 years after the fall, ghost is a myth. he travels from place to place, largely as a loner, looking for either a purpose or death. unable to die, he seeks the most complex of challenges, hoping one of them will lead to finality. this ultimately leads to him meeting all kinds of different people. at the same time, he hunts for answers regarding the GRE.it's when he's travelling when he meets aiden caldwell.he intends to pass through, when aiden expresses a need for his assistance - and who better to spend his time with than someone skilled but reckless, someone who just might put him in harm's, and in turn death's, way.the hunt for kyle crane is on, and ghost accompanies them into a facility in an attempt to free crane. the escape attempt fails and ghost is the only one, for a second time, to escape. by the time ghost gathers the necessary weapons and tools to free aiden, kyle and spike, he discovers the facility to be overrun with infected and his folks gone.word is kyle crane survived. so where is he?AGE. WHO IS MARA?mara is written by me, and can be found over @muertemorbo. she is a canon character from the call of duty warzone series.mara, real name [redacted], is a highly skilled and experienced cia asset, originally blackmailed into the position, working for and alongside the us government. while she remains a separate entity from the various black ops units, special forces teams and private military companies, mara is often called upon to assist them in their tasks or to lead teams when sensitive intelligence is involved.access her info here, credit belongs to me.WHAT IS HER CONNECTION TO GHOST?initially, the two meet when mara volunteers for u.s special forces training at eighteen. they talk during their time there, and mara intrigues him. once the training ends, they part ways and it appears to be the last they'll see of each other.that is, until they cross paths once again when mara suffers a betrayal and goes rogue. ghost is tasked with tracking her down, and helps her through the difficult time, remaining by her side as she navigates regrouping with the cia.some years later, they meet again on a mission in moscow, with mara leading the assassination of a target. ghost is part of the team, and even takes the fatal shot. when things go wrong, ghost takes it upon himself to help mara escape a deadly situation and get back home. during this time, they are forced to hide within the outskirts of moscow for three days together.after this, the two proceed to be teamed up various times for different missions, sometimes with it being them alone. they become a highly effective and successful duo, and during the years they are repeatedly paired up together, a close bond blossoms. ghost and mara end up sleeping together, and an unstable but persistent relationship follows on and off, never lasting due to their own personal trauma but they remain very close friends.from here, ghost and mara cross paths countless more times, including during their separate times in verdansk in 2019. mara proceeds to assist task force 141 where she's able to.INFORMATION ON THEIR DYNAMIC.ghost and mara's dynamic is complex. it isn't romantic, but is occasionally sexual. they are extremely close with one another, with mara being the closest example of a best friend and lover to simon, though these terms aren't used between them nor do they identify as either. the two are, above all else, dedicated to their jobs and therefore would be prepared to sell each other out in order to see a mission through. this is mutual, and despite this there's a large amount of trust they have for one another - likely because they're on the same page about it.mara is important to simon. if anything were to happen to her, he would be deeply troubled. vice versa, if anything were to happen to him, mara wouldn't rest until she found justice or the truth. simon is an anchor for mara, and they balance each other out. there are a lot of similarities shared between them, and in some ways they are one and the same.ghost will go to great lengths to ensure mara's safety on missions, often excusing his alertness for proactivity. if the mission is under threat however, he will certainly prioritise it. mara is the same. because of this, they are always understanding of each other and both hold immense respect. that being said, due to their shared difficulties in communication, it isn't unusual for there to be tension and misconstructions between them.outside of their private dynamic, on the job they are a highly skilled, effective and successful duo, complimenting each other's abilities and challenging themselves in a way that benefits the mission. ghost also acts as somewhat of a coach for mara - more so of her seeing him as such rather than him intending to be, offering her both wisdom and guidance when needed.DYN. WHO IS SOAP?johnny is a canon character from the call of duty modern warfare & warzone series.sergeant john "soap" mactavish, nicknamed johnny by ghost, is a demolitions expert and skilled sniper within the 22nd regiment, special air service. he is recruited by captain price into task force 141, a joint multi-national special operations task force & counter-terrorism military unit.WHAT IS HIS CONNECTION TO GHOST?when commander of iran's quds force, general ghorbrani, is assassinated following a clandestine op led by simon ghost riley, his second in command major hassan zyani steps up. with iran conducting illegal trades with russian pmcs, it's up to task force 141 to get to the bottom of it. they face a series of challenges and vast enemies, and simon is paired up with the young but not inexperienced sergeant john mactavish to travel to mexico in search of iran's courier when hassan goes on the run.in the beginning, ghost is disinterested in working alongside soap and is even more unenthused by his apparent greenness, but as he proves himself, his skill and his loyalty he grows on ghost as a teammate and later a brotherly figure. they survive and overcome betrayal together and develop a firm but platonic bond with one another. that being said, the war isn't over yet.INFORMATION ON THEIR DYNAMIC.at the start, simon is less than thrilled to be working alongside an apparently green and overly-enthusiastic sergeant, less inclined to work with a team and better utilised on lone missions but as johnny reveals himself to be skilled, experienced and loyal, he grows on him.as time progresses, johnny occupies a brotherly role for simon, unintentionally and largely ignored nevertheless. having lost his own brother, simon easily notices similar as well as preferable traits in johnny and somewhat begins viewing him as the brother tommy could've been. the use of "johnny" as a nickname even holds a resemblance to his real brothers name, tommy.simon remains reluctant to acknowledge his fondness for soap, but it's undeniable in their interactions and with johnny being an only child, simon fills the void of the elder brother he never had. they bully one another and frequently share banter but when boots are on the ground and lives are at stake, they make a formidable, effective and successful duo.friendship isn't in the field manual, but then again... neither is mask making.
